On 29 September 2026, the EACR hosted a webinar in collaboration with Roche, one of our valued EACR Industry Partners.
Antibody-Drug Conjugates (ADCs) have revolutionized cancer therapy, advancing from early drug-delivery concepts into sophisticated, multifunctional targeted therapies. In this EACR webinar, speakers from Roche traced the historical evolution of the ADC paradigm and explore how clinical milestones are informing next-generation therapeutic strategies.
Thanks to the speakers and Roche we are able to provide free on-demand access to the webinar, which can be found above.
The presentation covers three key pillars:
- Clinical challenges and opportunities for ADCs: A review of ADC history and clinical progress, examining lessons learned from approved therapies and recent data updates with a focus on Lung Cancer.
- Rational Combinations: Key translational insights from hematologic and solid tumor trials, detailing combination strategies with immune checkpoint inhibitors (CPIs), T-cell engagers (TCEs), and bispecific modalities.
- Next-Generation Platforms & Future Directions: An overview of upcoming R&D frontiers, including novel payload mechanisms, dual-payload engineering, and approaches to overcome tumor heterogeneity and treatment resistance.
Speakers
Dr. Stefanie Morris, Principal Global Medical Science Leader and Pipeline Medical Lead for Lung Cancer, Roche
Dr. Stefanie Morris is the Principal Global Medical Science Leader and Pipeline Medical Lead for Lung Cancer at Roche’s global headquarters in Basel, Switzerland. Over a 15-year tenure at Roche, she has held numerous key roles in clinical science and global medical affairs, specializing in early and late-stage thoracic oncology development. Stefanie Morris holds a PhD in Microbiology and Immunology from the Hannover Medical School and an MSc in Biomedical Sciences from Johannes Gutenberg University Mainz.
Dr. Nino Keshelava, Senior Principal Medical Director of Early Clinical Development Oncology, Roche
Dr. Nino Keshelava serves as the Senior Principal Medical Director of Early Clinical Development Oncology at pRED Roche. She held various roles at Jazz Pharmaceuticals and Eli Lilly. She was formerly an assistant professor of pediatrics and led a translational cancer research laboratory at Children’s Hospital Los Angeles (University of Southern California). Dr. Keshelava holds her MD from Tbilisi State Medical University.
Ines Grazina de Matos, Principal Scientist, pRED Oncology Disease, Roche
Ines Grazina de Matos, is a Principal Scientist at the Roche Innovation Center Zürich, within pRED Oncology Disease Therapeutic Area. With over 12 years of experience in early oncology drug discovery, she specializes in advanced modalities, including Antibody-Drug Conjugates (ADCs) and Degrader-Antibody Conjugates (DACs). She leads interdisciplinary project teams, steering molecules from target assessment through Lead Optimization and toward IND submission. A key component of her role involves driving external innovation by scouting for next-generation targeted conjugates and identifying promising new drug candidates. Ines holds a PhD in Immunology & Microbiology from The Rockefeller University.
