At the EACR-OECI virtual conference, Patient Involvement in Cancer Research, we enjoyed a brilliant programme of diverse sessions from a range of experts, including Marianna Vitaloni from Digestive Cancers Europe (DiCE), Belgium, who delivered a fascinating talk titled ‘Patient Co-creation in GI Cancer Research’.

Marianna shared insights on the implementation and importance of patient co-creation in gastrointestinal (GI) cancer research. Her presentation outlined DiCE’s mission, the concept of patient co-creation, practical examples from European projects, challenges, and lessons learned.
