The importance of an empowered community

At the EACR, we believe that scientific excellence and a strong sense of community are essential in the fight against cancer. Our community of cancer researchers work across the breadth of the cancer research field, and are all committed to accelerating cancer research and improving patient outcomes.

Our community provides opportunities for networking, collaboration, and knowledge-sharing, and we’re committed to supporting and empowering our members to achieve their research goals. From our friendly Science Book Club to our Find a Collaboration tool, we’re always working on ways to help you forge new connections and drive research forward.

Through our membership, we’ve built a strong network of cancer researchers who are making significant contributions to the field. Our members are at the forefront of cancer research, leading to new diagnostics and treatments, and improved patient outcomes. As our community grows, we’re excited about the possibilities for collaboration and innovation that lie ahead.

We would also like to express our sincere gratitude to the EACR Board, Councils and Committees for their tireless efforts in promoting the EACR’s mission and vision. Their leadership and guidance have been instrumental in shaping the organisation and driving its growth and success.

Last but not least, our EACR Ambassadors are passionate advocates for cancer research and play a crucial role in spreading awareness about the importance of our work. Their efforts have been instrumental in helping the EACR community grow and thrive, and we are grateful for their continued support.

EACR Ambassadors volunteer their time to help the EACR, such as providing support at our in-person events
