Reporting back from Defence is the Best Attack: Immuno-Oncology Breakthroughs

La Pedrera

180 participants from 28 countries gathered in Barcelona from 11-13 March 2019 for the second EACR Conference Defence is the Best Attack: Immuno-Oncology Breakthroughs, held at La Pedrera, Gaudí’s famous building in the centre of Barcelona. We were lucky to be able to offer participants a limited number of free tickets for tours of this extraordinary building.

Part of the highly rated EACR Conferences, Defence is the Best Attack was a great scientific success, with participants praising the quality of the speakers, breadth of the scientific programme and amount of unpublished work presented.

As always with EACR Conferences, we aimed to foster interaction and discussion in an intimate atmosphere, with limited participant numbers. The many different networking sessions were very popular including our Poster Spotlights, which allowed selected authors to present their posters to a wider audience.
